You Built This For Freedom
For the Mom Who Has the Business and Still Doesn't Have Her Life Back
You left the job. You built the business. You did the thing. And you're more burned out than you were before.
Is this for you?
You have the business.
So why don't you have the freedom?
You're working more than you planned. You're present less than you wanted. You're snapping at your kids on the days you cleared your schedule to be with them.
You feel guilty whether you're working or when you're not. You and your partner are ships passing in the night. You're sitting in your own life and you're not actually in it.
You've tried to fix it. Better systems. Tighter schedules.
A new approach that was going to make the pieces fit.
What if it's not a strategy problem?
☑️ You built the business for your family — and it became another place you feel like you're failing
☑️ The mom guilt follows you into both rooms — working or not, it doesn't turn off
☑️ You get to the end of the week wrung out, not just tired
☑️ You're physically present, but mentally somewhere else, and you can't seem to help it
☑️ The outside looks successful. The inside feels like you're barely holding the seams together.
What you'll walk away with
Not more to do.
A different way to carry it.
Three short episodes you can listen to on the go — in the car, on a walk, while you make dinner. No masterclass format. No pitch disguised as training. Something you can actually use the same day.
You'll understand
Why the guilt, the resentment, and the exhaustion keep coming back — no matter what you try.
You'll leave with
A tool you can use today. 90 seconds. In the middle of the chaos.
You'll see clearly
What's actually underneath the mom guilt, the partner tension, and the inability to slow down — and why it's all the same thing.
Your host
Hi, I'm Alexis
Mom of three, fire wife, business owner, and school from home mom — with no family nearby. I know what it is to carry a lot with no margin to stop or slow down.
I trained as a therapist and moved into coaching specifically with high-performing moms because I was the woman I just described. I pushed myself until I collapsed. I tied my worth to my weight, my achievements, and my ability to hold it all together and make everyone happy.
What changed for me wasn't a better strategy or a more structured morning. It was understanding the loop I was stuck in and learning how to interrupt it at the root.
Same character, different costume. That's what we're getting into in this podcast series

What shifts when the loop breaks
Same life.
Completely different experience of it.
She had been trying to quit for years. She knew she couldn't keep doing it but couldn't see a way out. For the first time, the fear and anxiety didn't drive her decision. Her confidence was bigger than her fear. That's not something you can white-knuckle your way into.
Client story - corporate to courage
Having people over doesn't send her into a spiral of rage cleaning anymore. She gets to the end of Friday tired — because she's a mom — but not depleted. She regularly messages me about how life-changing this work has been. Same life. More stability.
Client story - mom of two, corporate + side business
She didn't know what she needed, she just knew she couldn't keep doing this. Coming home at the end of the day not able to have a moment to herself, but then feeling like a terrible mom because she needed it. Now she's feeling more and more confident to let the mess go and have her time.
Client story - mom of two, corporate ambition + mom guilt
